Here it is !!!

Here we are. The whole family!!! We finally got around to getting family pictures done since we had Caydence. I am finally getting around to getting some things done. We have had a rough run since we had Caydence. And honestly I hate this time a year for construction work. Its always such a bummer when Ray gets laid off especially so close to holidays. From September to December he worked like a whole 65 days, then the first week of December they laid hm off. Ah!!! I hate that!! Finally he is back to work after a whole 3 days of being laid off. And now its 11:00 pm and he is yet to get home!! I guess I can never when with this job. So while I am waiting for him to get home I thought that I would post our family pic.

This is truly our entire family. No more coming from these baby makers. We are officially DONE!!! It feels good to know that when Caydence is done with formula we are done, when he is done with diapers we are done!! We made sure we are done. Since birth control is really not an option for me I had my tubes tied. Three is enough for us and and keep us busy enough.

Caydence is getting cuter everyday. He is starting to laugh and smile more. I am so excited for him to be more active so that Payton and Abriee can actually enjoy him to. They enjoy him now and miss Abriee is mommy number 2. The second she hears him cry she runs over to see whats wrong. The funniest is when she hears that his nose is plugged and she runs for the nose sucker and tries her best to get those boogers out!!! Caydence doesn't enjoy it but I think it is so cute.!! She will make a great mom one day!!
Now that she has really figured out what a "baby" is, she now has her own baby and takes such great care of her. Of course what would life be without the brother to steal the baby and make you cry!!1 Yes of course Payton has figured out how "fun" it is to make Abriee scream. It makes me laugh sometimes and other times it drives me up the wall. Good news is that Payton is starting to talk and his favorite things to say is " sister did it" and "who's that" and " why". Now "why" drives me nuts. It funny though!!

More pictures of Caydence..

Thought that while I had a minute to myself I would just post some pics of Caydence. ALL the kids are sleeping and I can actually think straight now. Here are some more I had taken and I think they are just adorable.

Now how cute is he???

Caydence...

I thought that I would post some pics of Caydence that I had done a couple few ago.. He so stinkin cute. Honestly, I couldn't believe how cute they turned out and how well he did. We had them done when he was about four weeks old and he was so alert. It looks older because he is so alert. Crazy, but all the kids have been that way. Even Payton when he was born. He came out eyes wide open and they stayed that way!! Pretty funny..

This one is my absolute favorite. I love how he has his one eye open like he is just peeking on us to make sure he doesn't miss out on any excitement!!!
I love how they turned out.. Courtesy of JC Penny Studios. They did such a great job. We are so happy to have Caydence. Even though we feel overwhelmed with the three of them we would not change it for the world. Caydence is a little more challenging than Payton or Abriee was, but I somehow find the patience to get through each day without going crazy!!
Ray always asks why we have such hyper active children that seem not to listen and are always into everything!!! I tell him that we have them so we can learn patience. Heaven Father knew we needed to learn to be more patient in life with everyday things so he gave us Payton, Abriee and Caydence.. Believe me we always have that thought in the back our our minds that Heavenly Father trusted us with his precious children to raise them right and learn to be better parents everyday.. Everyday we learn to be even more patient. We have a big job on our hands and we strive everyday to be better parents. Payton, Abriee, and Caydence never go a day with out knowing how much the mean to us and how much we love them. We thank Heavenly Father everyday for our children and are so blessed to have them.

Halloween...

I know that it is way past Halloween, but I thought that I would just do a quick entry about the kids anyway. Payton was a horse and Abriee was a unicorn. Costumes courtesy of Grandma. I am not too big of Halloween so its nice that Grandma is willing to buy them costumes. Abriee was going to be a baby lamb, but we couldn't get her into the outfit, She just had to have a horse like Payton so we opted for the unicorn.. They still looked pretty cute and they both enjoyed it.

They aren't really sure about the trick or treating though. It could have been that they could barely walk with four extra legs!!! Abriee can barely walk with the two she has let alone add four more!!! She has got to be the clumsiest girl ever!!! By the end of the nite Payton was actually saying "trick or treat" fairly well. Abriee just looked at people and smiled!!!

This is the kids with Ray when we went trick or treating.. I had every intention of taking lots of pictures, but yeah, the batteries died and we had no extras.. Go figure.. At least I got two!!

The nite went surprisingly well. We were worried that Payton may not enjoy and get freaked out by all the other costumes.. Especially the scarier ones, but he did well. No joke he is the biggest scaredy cat ever. He is scared of the funniest things.. Example, he loves to eat bananas, but he is scared to death of the peel. If you try to get him to throw the peel away or pick it up he freaks out. It's hilarious!! He did fine and just looked at everyone dressed up like they were nuts and went about his way.. What a good kid..

Luckily we didn't get toooo much candy.. Ray ate all the good stuff so it saved me from eating too much.. I hate having candy in the house.. Payton is about the only one who could use the extra calories!! That skinny little thing!!
This is later when Kasiah and Jessica came over with their baby and brought costumes so we could take some pictures of all the kids dressed up for Grandma.. Bryzaunna is the strawberry and Donavyn is shrek.. Donavyn is a mommies boy so he was crying cause Kasiah wasn't holding him. But he sure is a doll and a great blessing to our family.
Oh yeah, if you see the black eye that Abriee has it from a Halloween party we went to. She was coming down the porch stairs and feel off the porch hitting her eye on the corner. They were concrete stairs so it hurt pretty bad. She had the black eye for three weeks..

Pumpkin Carving..

Last week we carved pumpkins with some family and I thought that I would post them on my blog. Also since I haven't posted in a while I thought that I would add something new. I have decided that I am not a big blogger person, but I try to at least do something once a month. Anywhoo just like last year Ray did some massive carving. I tried to do some myself this year. Yes we did use stencils, but hey they turned out pretty good.

This is Payton and Abriee helping us to get all that gross stuff out of the pumpkins. Try as they may, they sure didn't like the stuff. To actually get them to pick it up throw it away was not happening at all. For some reason they both don't like slimy things. Payton more than Abriee. Its funny..

Pretty cute eh???

This is my sister Jessica and her little one Bryzaunna. I can't believe that she will be 1 in January.. Crazy how they grow up so fast.

Now this is the finished product when we got done with the pumpkins.. It took us a while, but they were okay at the end.

I am not sure whose pumpkin this is and I have no idea what is it suppose to be!!

This is the one that Ray did. Pretty cool.

This is the one that I did and of course its the best!!!

Payton, Payton, Payton

Last night about 7:30 or so I hear Payton screaming from the kitchen. I go to see what is wrong and this is how I found him.. He likes to climb up on the counters to get into the cupboards and occasionally when he gets down he finds himself in a sticky situation. I thought it was kinda funny. He wasn't so happy and didn't see any humor it. I made him stay like that for a minute while I took some pictures. He really didn't like that..

Abriee was enjoying the opportunity to get some pay back for herself as well. She did try to help and console him, but then realized this was her chance for pay backs!! Ah leave it to the girls to get even when the time is right!!
This is Abriee trying to console him.. She was blabbing not that I could understand a word she was saying. I would assume she was trying to tell Payton he was going to be alright!!!
Finally she realizes she better take advantage of a sticky situation and get some good grabs in while she can!!! She got some good ones in too!!!

Caydence is home..

Okay so I am a slacker. Caydence has been home for a week now and I am just getting around to blogging about it. It is good to have him home, but boy I forgot what it was like to have a new baby!!! The being up all night feeding and all that good stuff. Last night he finally slept for 5 hours without waking up. I was so excited. Since he has been home it he has been up every 3 hours on the dot to eat. Let me tell ya he takes forever to eat to. I don't know what it is about my kids but they eat so little all the time until they get bigger.. What wackos I have for children. So anyway it has been a tired week for me. Caydence is up all night and Payton and Abriee are up all day, so what little sleep I do manage at night keeps me going all day. Now I am not complaining and I love my children. I am just so glad that we are done!!!

Caydence is 2 weeks old today and he had his 3 week checkup. He is now 7.5 lbs and is still 20 inches long.. I have to tell ya I was really surprised that he has gained a pound since being home. Payton nor Abriee had gained that much weight at their 2 week check up and Abriee is a junk!!! Needless to say its going to be interesting to see what happens while they grow up. Payton will be the "runt" of the family.

Payton and Abriee love Caydence to death and its so cute to watch hem hold him.Payton could hold him all day if I let him. Abriee just gets a big grin on her face and thinks that she is mommy now. Abriee is my keeper of the bottles and fighter for the binkies.. She loves to keep track of Caydences' bottles, hates it when he has a binkie. The binkies are only for her!!! What a wacko!!! They are help when I need them to be and more often when I don't need them to be. They have all adjusted very well to Caydence and Caydence does well with them too. I have not had any jealousy issues with Abriee and she has done very well with him home.

I am blessed with 3 wonderful children that drive me up the wall!! Ha ha. I know one day they will drive me completely crazy, but I wouldn't trade it for anything..
Payton is such a big brother!! It's funny that when Caydence was first born and we were in the hospital Payton wanted nothing to do with him. Now he just can't get enough!!!
Abriee was so excited to actually see Caydence and finally know that there was really a baby!! She is just starting to get the hang of holding him. She actually has to hold him. He doesn't hold himself up yet!!
Aren't they just so cute?! One day Payton will actually look at the camera and smile for a picture. He is just camera shy!!

Good news...

Caydence is finally in an open crib and out of his incubator. He has been in an open crib since Tuesday night around 10:00 pm. So he is scheduled to have his hearing test done today and his circumcision done this morning. So today could be the day if all goes well. Just waiting for that call that says come get him. Its amazing how the light just clicks with one day and then all the sudden he is better.

We are so ready for him to come home so we don't have to spend what spare time we have at the hospital.. Last night he was doing great when we went up to visit. So hopefully he will do fine today with his circumcision and come home today.. Wish us luck!!!!

He's here,but not home....

Friday September 19, 2008 we had a baby boy.. He was 6lbs 7 oz and 20 in. long.We named him Caydence Phillip Keel. He is a doll and looks just like Payton. I think I have my work cut out for me when he gets older!!! I was so excited to find out it was a boy. So Friday evening around 5 pm he was having some problems being all jittery and shaky so they checked him out and found out his sugars were really low. Way down in the 30's which is extremely low and verging on some serious problems. So they immediately stuck him in the NICU and has been there since. Thankfully his sugars have leveled out and we have no problems with that any more..
Now the poor kid can't keep his body temp up. He is in an incubator right now and the air in the incubator has to stay around 95 degrees and higher just so his body temp will stay up in normal range. The doctors can't say why he can't keep it up so its kinda frustrating right now. We can't hold him much just when he eats and then we have to put him strait back in the incubator.. So right now its a waiting game and I have no idea when he will be able to come home. Now we make it up to the hospital to visit when we can, but with 2 kids at home it makes it hard to make it often.

I came home lat night( Sept. 22). I am actually entitled to another day or so, but my kids at home need me more then Caydence does right now. I actually feel pretty good just sore from the c-section. I figured that since having gone through this once before with Payton that it would be easy to go home, but I have had a really hard time with Caydence being in the NICU. So hopefully I can handle it well enough until he comes home. Hopefully by the end of the week he will get to where he needs to be.. I am just glad to be home. Abriees' world has been turned upside down and she was having a hard time when I was in the hospital. She was so excited when I came home yesterday!!! She is a doll..

Like father like son..

Yard work, yard work, and more yard work.
Last night we decided that we would do a little yard work. The stuff I hate to do in the heat and it even makes it worse when I am carrying extra pounds!! I usually mow the lawn, but lately Ray has been doing it. Every time I mow it about half way through I start having contractions and he has to finish it anyway. Last night as I was playing with Abriee I happened to look up and see Ray and Payton mowing the lawn.. It was so cute and Payton had this big grin on his face. He was so excited to be helping and he thought that he was such a big boy.. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to take these pictures.. I thought that it was just so stinking' cute.. FYI Paytons help only lasted about 1 1/2 times around our yard and then he was done and on to better activities.. His favorite as of lately is throwing sand on Abriee and pestering her until she cries!! he really does love her,but he like to see her cry. For some reason he thinks it's funny and laughs when he makes her cry.. What a boy!! I do believe that is typical of boys. Right?

On another note I have been dog sitting for my mom. A few weeks ago she bought her a little dog. It is half Shitzu and half Pug and its the cutest thing ever. Well he is really ugly but cute at the same time. He is only about 12 inches long and weighs only about 2 pounds. He is about the size of Payton when he was born just a little shorter!! Mom calls him Pugsy and we call him Mr. T. He has a Mohawk in the center of his head and hair around his face that is sporadically growing and he reminds us of Mr.T. He looks like an old dog, but he is only 12 weeks old or so.. In case I didn't post we got rid of our chocolate lab. She was way to much for me and the kids really didn't like her. She was too hyper and way to big for them to play with and being a puppy we couldn't really expect nothing else. So we sold her to a nice family that will take care of her and actually have time to train and stuff with her. Honestly I enjoy not having the extra responsibility in taking care of her. I will have to say that the small dog is much better..

Oh NO!!..There's a bird in the house!!

Last night as we were having dinner we heard this noise in the kitchen. Out if the corner of Rays' eye he could have swore that he saw something drop out of the ceiling. We looked and couldn't find anything. I just figured if it was anything it would have been a mouse , but we searched and couldn't find anything.. So we just went about the rest of the night like nothing had happened.

Later that night after I had put the kids to bed I kept hearing this noise in the kitchen at the bottom of our corner shelves. It sounded like it was coming from plastic sacks I had on the shelves. So I once again went over and looked and I couldn't find anything. A few minutes later I heard a noise that sounded like a cry and so I searched again.. Nothing. Ray went and looked he found nothing. So we went to bed and I never thought anything about it again..

Well this morning Payton got up and he was looking under the shelves on the floor and kept coming up to me and saying "Quack, Quack" ( that's his duck and bird sound) I couldn't figure out why he was saying it and looking under that shelf. I just figured he was repeating the cartoon that was on and I just blew it off. Well he was so persistent on it and kept repeating"quack, quack".. So I looked again and Abriee was trying to get under the shelf as well. It was then that I figured something must be under there. I was just hoping it wasn't a mouse cause they are gross and it was probably dead if it was. So I get my big belly on the ground and lay down to look under the shelf and there was the mysterious noise maker.. A baby bird.. It had been there all night. The kids were trying to get it to play with it. It was kinda gross cause it had been trying to get out and apparently couldn't figure out how and it had poop all over the floor. I was so not excited to tackle that mess.

I got the bird out and let the kids play with it. Payton was scared to death of and Abriee just wanted to carry it around and poke at it.. It was pretty funny.. So mystery solved. Somehow a bird flew in our house and got stuck on the floor under a shelf and spent the night in the house. I let it out this morning and hopefully it found mom or home..

Potty training...What a chore!!!

For the last few weeks Payton has been taking his diaper off every time he poos or he pees. I am sick of cleaning it up all the time. Especially when I wake up the next morning to find it all over his room. I had tried everything to keep his diapers on and nothing has worked. So I decided that if he is big enough to take his diaper off then he is big enough to use the potty!!! We are on day 3 and on day 2 i was ready to give up completely.. Potty training is for those who have patience to do it. I find I run out of patience a lot and then we both just get frustrated and nothing works well. Surprisingly Payton has done pretty well.. He still can't tell me when he needs to go sow e have to make it a point to go every 10-15 minutes or so.

For some reason all day long he thinks it's a game with me and he still hasn't figures out that he doesn't have to always "push" it out. But he gets so excited when he actually goes and then he runs in the kitchen for his treat.. It is actually really cute. I enjoy potty training more when Ray is home. Payton does better when daddy takes him and he always go better as well.. I can't figure that out either.. Oh well.. We really haven't had too many accidents. Its when I get busy and forget to take him potty.. He still hasn't figured out the pooping in potty part yet, but hopefully by next week we will have more progress.. That would be great..

It will be nice to have only 2 in diapers. In the process of potty training Payton I have noticed that Abriee is starting to want to use the potty as well. She will always have to sit on the potty after Payton. I have no desire to start her at the same time as Payton.. There is no way I am going to put her in panties either. One is enough. No pull ups for Payton and no more diapers.. We went straight to underwear and that's they way it will stay. Luckily for me he stays dry all night and through nap time. I hear that's a good step..

I am thinking that when Payton gets better at the potty then I might try with Abriee. I just keep thinking it would be so nice to only have 1 baby in diapers.. We will just have to see how much patience I have when I am on better track with Payton. I look forward to the weekend so Ray is home to take over potty training!!! Yeah for Daddy!!! For real this potty training stuff might just drive me to the loony bin as well!!!! So if you try to get a hold of me and can't check the loony bins and I will probably be there!!

Babies of the same size...

Yesterday I had a doctors appointment and I took Payton and Abriee with me. Of course Ray came along to keep them on track. So we decided to weigh them to see how much they weigh.. I don't know why we were so surprised to find out that Payton weighed 26.4 lbs and Abriee weighed 24.2 lbs.. It seems kinda funny that even though they are 12 months and 18 days apart Abriee is just a big as Payton. It also got me wondering about how much they should gain in a month. Since Abriee was at her 12 month appointment she weighed 22 lbs. So in 3 months she has only gained 2 pounds. Is that normal? Since then Payton weighed 26 lbs so he has not gained any weight since his 2 year check up. Is that normal not to gain any weight in 3 months..??? Who knows, but I am not going to worry too much unless I notice that they are starting to loose too much weight..

So everything is good with the baby so far.. Just a little high blood pressure and a little baby on the small side, but normal for me.. Now here in the fun part of seeing the doctor every 2 weeks for a month and then probably on a weekly basis.. So much fun.. It wouldn't be bad if it was a normal appointment but from here on out its a 45 minute ultrasound and a word with the doctor that usually takes about 10 minutes or so.. Not to mention that every single time I go to see the doctor he is always 30 minutes or more behind.. What a joy.. So add it all up I wait for usually about 45 minutes before I even see him and then I am there for a least another hour!!! I am so excited.. The good thing is that Ray gets to come to every appointment with this baby casue I can see my doctor after he gets off work.. So at least I have someone to kill the time with!!

No we are not finding out what we are having cause frankly I don't really care and for once it will be interesting to just know when it comes.. It doesn't matter anyway too us what we have. Well that what we tell ourselves, but honestly Ray would like another little girl and I would like a little boy.. I can deal with boys much better than I can girls.. Abriee is too needy for me and she drives me crazy. She always needs to be held and cuddled and all that stuff that I am not too fond of. Payton drives me crazy only because he does things he knows he isn't suppose to. If he had it his way he would just play and need no supervision!!! What a great kid!! So we will see what we have whenever it decides to come!!

Where do I find the energy???

I always wonder where Payton and Abriee get the energy to run all day long.. I have no idea where they get it. Now I am wondering where I find the energy to keep up with them and all of our projects that we do around here.. Last weekend we laid carpet in Payton's room. We thought it would take us 3 or 4 hours, but it took us all day. Go figure for some inexperienced carpet layers!!! Okay really Ray did all the hard work as I chased the kids around and done the cleaning.. As of now we are trying to get the living room and dinning room ready for some painting so we can tear carpet up and lay hardwood floor in the dinning room and lay carpet in the living room.. That was going to be this weekends project, but turns out Ray has to work tomorrow. Not that that has helped in giving us a break...

My family has decided that they want to have a Fathers Day cookout and they have decided to have it at our house.. Go figure we are the only one that has a house!!! So instead of doing our home improvement projects I get to clean my house and and cook for a BBQ.. Today I have been trying to get ahead of the game a little and so when Payton and Abriee went down for a nap I did some lawn mowing.. 1/4 acre lot is a LOT to mow.. Then I came in and cleaned the house since I had been neglecting that for the last 2 days.. Amazing how much I can get dome with the kids asleep only for them to wake up and mess it all up!!

The joys of motherhood and children. I can't believe that we are adding one more the mad house here!! What were we ever thinking?!!!

Memorial Day Project!!!

So we took the weekend to do some little projects around the house.. We finally got our chain link fence done and all the little odds and ends that needed to be done as well. Today we thought that we would do some work in the dusty attic that needed to be done, but then Ray started pulling wood off the wall that would have eventually come down anyway.. Well as he was pulling the wall was starting to pull away as well. No big deal it was coming out as well, but just not planned so soon. Well anyway we had to pull it off and put up a new wall.. A little earlier than planned, but I guess better sooner than later.

As we were pulling the wall off we realized how old our house really is. There was no insulation behind the wall. We never thought anything of it cause it was never that cold during the winter, but then again they did insulate the outside of the house when they add the new siding a few years ago.. Anyway as we were pulling off the wall we found a set of speakers built into the wall.. We were sure that no one would believe us so we had to take a picture..
We thought it was pretty funny.. The further we got into the project we found amazing things.. Apparently back in the day they insulated with leaves and hay.. We found tons of that behind the wall.. Really they used about anything they could find unless it seemed to be a storage place. We found a really old snap gun.. It was just funny to see what was in the wall. Now we are wondering what is behind all the other walls and I am not sure that I am ready to tear down another wall..
Well the wall is up and now all we have to do is pudy and paint and one room down only 6 more rooms to go.. I am sure the dust and stuff isn't good for the baby, but I am sure it will survive!!
As I finish a room I will be sure to let post so all can see the work.. I am planning on having everything done by the time the baby gets here. That is the plan anyway..

We are still alive... If anyone was wondering!!!

Yes we are still here and alive.. I just feel that everyday is the same for me.. I am sure that if I blogged the same thing everyday you would all be bored.. We are just enjoying being home owners and fixing our house and yard. This last weekend we put up an chain link fence. Let me tell you it was so hot and miserable, but we got it done. It took us two full days and all we have left are just little touches and small things that need to be done. Now I can let the kids out to play and they won't run in the road and all that good stuff.. Funny thing is as we were putting the fence up, we soon found that Payton can climb it in 2 minutes flat. 2 minutes and he is up and over the fence.. After we saw that it seemed kinda pointless. Abriee and the dog stays in the fence anyway..

Abriee is finally walking and into everything, I sometimes wonder why I wanted her to walk in the first place. But man she is the cutest thing when she walks around. She hunches over like and old man.. Payton will chase her around and it is so funny to see them play together. They actually play very well together and get along. Yes they do fight like brothers and sister should and they are brutal to each other at times. Abriee may be a little small, but man she can take care of her self.

Payton has decided that Gracie is a horse and not a dog.. He will be outside and I will look out on him and he will be trying to ride here like a horse. its the funniest thing ever. He will try and try again until he gets tired or Gracie pushes him over.. Kids, they are the best..

What's new at the Keels????

There is not a whole lot of "new" at our house. Just a thing or two. The most exciting is that Abriee is starting to walk now. She has been walking for about a week and is still a little wobbly, but give her another week and she will be a pro.. I am so excited and she is so cute. She look a little funny cause she is small, but it is kinda funny too.

This is Abriee walking with help!! Ashley the dress is for you!!!!

Now that Ray is back to work we decided that it was time to get rid of the PT Cruiser and upgrade to a Tahoe Z71.. Apparently that's the best package with a Tahoe.. We got a pretty good deal and so we couldn't pass it up.. It was time to retire the PT. Things were starting to go wrong and so Ray wanted to trade it in.. Anyway it's a pretty sweet ride. We enjoy and it comes in handy.. We needed something to hook a trailer to so we can haul junk to the dump that was left at our house when we bought it. So we really needed something that could tow.

Here's a picture of our new ride!!!

Now that it is starting to get warmer and summer is soon to be here I am excited to get some things done around this place. We have a busy summer planned with remolding and putting up a fence and hauling all kinds of junk outa here.. Sounds fun eh?? I just wish that I could do more with Ray working 6 days a week it gets kinda hard to have a full weekend to actually work.. When they finally have work for him closer to home instead of 1 1/2 hours away we might be able to get more accomplished.. Hopefully next week he will be closer to home..

One last picture of one of the kids.. One night for dinner Payton must have been wiped out. Ray and I were talking and I looked over and Payton was asleep with his face in his food.. It was really funny. Thought that I'd share!!

Honey... The heater went out last night.....

This morning I was abruptly woke up by Ray informing me that our heater had went out. I was so mad. It was so cold in our house and I was freezing so I know the kids were cold. Payton woke up cause we were up and Abriee slept until about 8 this morning. I did go in her room to make sure that she had enough blankets and would be plenty warm. I walked into her room and it was ice cold.. I really wish summer would get here so it would be such a big deal. Of course I have done the only logical and safe thing to do with two babies around.. I have turned on the stove and opened it to kinda keep it at a livable temp until the furnace guys gets out to fix it.. At 4 o'clock this morning I called our home owners insurance to place a claim so they could get someone out to fix it. The company that is coming out called and said it would be late this morning or early this afternoon. The earlier the better.

I have dressed the kids and layers of clothes since it is only suppose to be about 40 degrees today. They seem not to be too bother by the cold so I am guessing they aren't too cold as of yet. When Payton did wake up this morning he was freezing. He was shaking and it takes him forever to warm up when cold. Probably has something to do with the fact he is as skinny as a bean pole and ways a whole 24 pounds!!! Abriee on the other hand has enough fat like her mom to keep her warm!!

Needless to say I have been up since 4 o'clock this morning and it sucks!!! At least my house is warm enough to stay right now. Hopefully as the day progresses it will get warmer outside so it won't be as cold. I love owning a house. The joys of home ownership!!!!

Easter.....

Saturday we took the kids to an egg hunt at the dinosaur park. Dummie me forgot the camera so unfortunately we didn't get any pictures. My sister had her camera and got a few but I forgot to get them off her camera before she headed back home. It was more of a hassle with the egg hunt than it was actually worth anyway. I decided that Payton and Abriee are just too young to get the idea anyway. Abriee thought we were crazy and since she can't walk I had to carry her and it was crazy anyway. Plus there were about a million other kids running over Payton. Payton didn't really get the idea anyway so he was looking at everyone like they were nuts. So next year I have decided that we will just hunt eggs at home in our own yard...
We didn't even color eggs this year because I just didn't want to deal with the dye and the kids. Probably should have, but I passed on it this year. I did however make an Easter Bunny cake for dinner on Sunday!! It actually turned out pretty well.

Sunday evening after dinner we opened Easter baskets. Abriee really wanted nothing to do with it and all Payton wanted was the ball that we got him. I was really a slacker for Easter this year, but they don't know the difference and so it is okay.
Ray was in charge of taking pictures and he didn't really get any good ones. I should fire him but I can't take pictures worth a darn so his is better than none. For some reason these turned out sorta crappy. Ray usually does very well with pictures.. That was the Easter holiday for us.. Nothing too much or to fancy.
